Each Stalker lure has the following features....
- The Stalker is 6" long and weighs 3 ounces.
- Each Stalker is hand carved and shaped by Kjelle from beechwood.
- The Stalker is hand painted by Kjelle with his custom patterns and designs. Kjelle is a real artist!
- Each bait is assembled with Stamina stainless hardware including 25 MM extra long screw eyes.
- Each of the screw eyes are epoxied to ensure they stay put.
- Multiple coats of Envirotex are applied to each Stalker both before and after the custom paint job. The multiple coats of Envirotex will seal the beechwood completely to ensure a long life for the lure. I have found the finish on Kjelle's lures to be extremely durable and they have held up to rocks and “toothy critters”.
- Each Stalker is custom weighted to achieve a great side-to-side action with just the slightest touch.
- Each lure has a slow sink to allow the lure to be worked shallow over weeds and woody cover. I have tweaked the sink rate on some of my Stalkers by putting in slightly heavier hooks, or by using a slightly heavier leader.
- Each lure is "tank tested" by Kjelle to ensure quality, the desired sink rate, etc.
- Each lure is shipped with Eagle Claw 374M 3/0 curved point hooks and extra strong musky split rings. Eagle Claw 374F 5/0 hooks are also available is requested.
